Sermon 4/24 The power of intercession
The effectual fervent prayer of a righteous man availeth much. James 5:16 kjv
These types of prayers will affect that person or thing. It will bring it from one stage to the next like a current or a force going toward the prayer need. When a person has an effectual
prayer he has as much power as Elijah. He was a man like us, had a nature like us, and had amazing results. He prayed prayers of faith. He was submitted to God and God worked through him.

Can reverse impending judgment. Deuteronomy 9:19-20
The Holy Spirit helps us in our weakness. Ask Him to show you what to pray or pray in the Spirit. We have the assistance of the Holy Ghost. Stir yourself up in the Holy Ghost.
Acts 12:5-16 tells of the effectual fervent prayers of the Saints got Peter out of prison.
The enemy wants you to think that your prayers are not working.

Can change history. Isaiah 41:15 Threshing = interceding
We should pray and intercede on behalf of all nations. The prayer of the heart comes from and touches our heart. Prayer is not a duty. Looking into the natural, has nothing to do with the spiritual realm. Gods ways and thoughts are so much higher than ours.

Causes breakthroughs. 1 Chron 14:10-11
God is Master of the breakthrough. Effectual fervent prayer changes things. God does exceedingly abundantly above what we can ask or think or dream. Ask God what to pray. Never give up!
We can’t stop fighting for our lost loved ones or the babies that the enemy wants to destroy!
