Sermon 5/2/2025     Be Prepared

Some people want to trust in God only and not plan ahead. Does God prepare?

He formed us in the womb for HIs kingdom purposes. He made us to be the light and salt in the world for righteousness. He chose us before the foundations of the world.

Our life is much more than our daily activities. We have a much higher calling. You have to look up and see the vision. He prepares us with His word, line upon line, precept upon precept. He's bringing us into maturity. We need to be prepared for the future. Keep your eyes on Jesus and don't get caught up in the world. Keep being filled with the Holy Ghost, keep your lamp full by praying in the Holy Ghost, through worship, praise and thanksgiving to God. Get rid of anything that has become an idol and stay busy about the Father's business until He comes. Break up the fallow ground of your heart. Cleanse the temple and return to the Lord. Leave the world behind and overcome your triggers which bring you into fleshly desires. Walk in the Spirit and choose life.

Matthew 24:44 NKJV - Therefore you also be ready, for the Son of Man is coming at an hour you do not expect.

Ephesians 2:10 KJV - For we are His workmanship, created in Christ Jesus unto good works, which God hath before ordained that we should walk in them. (prepared)

Jeremiah 29:11 NIV - For I know the the plans I have for you, declares the Lord, plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.

Isaiah 45:2 NKJV - I will go before you and make the crooked places straight; I will break in pieces the gates of bronze and cut the bars of iron.

John 14:1-3 TPT - Don´t worry or surrender to your fear. For you´ve believed in God, now trust and believe in Me also. My FatherÅ› house has many dwelling places. If it were otherwise, I would tell you plainly, because I go to prepare a place for you. And when everything is ready, I will come back and take you to Myself so that you will be where I am.
